                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1106
                   DUNCAN AVENUE, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF
                   DUNCAN AVENUE AT SPRUCE STREET, FROM R-3
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4 SPECIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 1106 Duncan Avenue, being on
              the southwest line of Duncan Avenue at Spruce Street. 
              Lots 3, 4, 5, and 6, block 2, Cook and Hutchesons
              Subdivision, as shown by plat of record in plat book 5,
              page 53, R.O.H.C.; being the property described in deed
              book 3897, page 687, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 146G-B-25 and
              26.
             
         from R-3 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
         	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
